Until recently, this beach house was a modest one story structure built in the 60s that never bothered anyone. The owners, having construction experience, endeavored to salvage as much as possible so ZINN designed an intervention that allowed them to build onto, around, and above the original home, surgically removing portions while tactically grafting others. The interior flow was improved as well. The kitchen is now central to everything and enjoys commanding views of both the pool and living spaces, perfect for stray kids and mischievous pets.
